Spooky sporty halloween fun

Half term holidays are here again and Rochdale Leisure Centre has put on yet another action packed programme of activities for children to enjoy their holidays.

Take part in Halloween Mini Madness - a spook-tacular morning with activities including multi-sports, games and Halloween inspired arts and crafts.

Junior Skills a new weekly session which is being launched this October half term. Every Wednesday, this multi-sports and FUNdamentals session for children 5-11 years offers a variety of different sports, skills and games delivered by fully qualified coaches and local sports clubs. No booking required.

You can also take part in a variety of energetic sports sessions on offer for all ages. These include a soft Play session for under 5s, Active Kids  and trampolining for 5-7 year olds, and Tennis Taster and Sports Zone for 8-12 year olds. 

Go4it and Link4Life’s disability holiday programme Sunsport are joining forces again and will be putting on a joint sports programme for disabled and non-disabled young people. Held on Thursday 29 October, 10am – 3.30pm with fully qualified sports coaches and support workers delivering on the programme, this is a unique opportunity for children of all abilities to come together and have fun. Activities will include swimming, judo, wheelchair sports and games. Swimming kit and drinks required.
