Rochdale Borough Youth Brass Band to compete in inaugural NWABBA Rochdale Youth Contest

The North West Area Brass Bands Association Contest takes place in Rochdale
Rochdale Borough Youth Brass Band is one of seven brass bands that will compete in the inaugural North West Area Brass Bands Association (NWABBA) Rochdale Youth Contest on Saturday (24 October) at Rochdale Town Hall.

- Whitworth Vale and Healey Youth
- Oldham Music Centre Youth Brass
- Pemberton Old Wigan DW Youth
- Macclesfield Youth Band
- Stockport Schools' Senior Brass
- Elland Silver Youth
The Youth Contest will be followed in the evening by a Gala Concert given by the 2014 NWABBA Rochdale Contest Champion Band - Milnrow.
Sunday 25 will see the second NWABBA Rochdale contest take place in the Town Hall with a total of 37 bands competing over five sections.
Admission for the public, payable on the day, is £5 for the Rochdale Youth Contest on Saturday, £5 for the Gala Concert on Saturday evening and £5 to the Rochdale Contest on Sunday. Children under five are admitted free.
