Manactco, (Manchester Acting Company) will be in school to perform an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet with a Key Stage Two audience on Monday 19 October.

Poetry Display

Our talented upper key stage two writers currently have their very moving poetry on display at Rochdale Library. Please pop in to appreciate it if you are passing, or make a special family trip to celebrate the talents of our young Hamer writers. Thank you.

Prevent Radicalisation and Extremism

There is an awareness raising booklet to support families in understanding how to prevent children and young people in this area, which is now a statutory responsibility for all schools to safeguard against. We hope the information is useful and it can be found in the information/policies section on our website.

Tadpoles

The year 2’s enjoyed a trip to M6 theatre to see their current production “Tadpoles” being performed. They thoroughly enjoyed the performance – thank you to M6 colleagues and to our children for being such a fantastic audience.

Enterprise Week and Enterprise Fair

The school is now thoroughly geared-up and ready for our first ever Enterprise week next week! Classes will be taking part in enterprise initiatives every afternoon and parents are invited to an Enterprise Fair on Friday at 2.30pm. Children will have already visited and must remain in school until the normal end of the school.

Poppies

Poppies will be available to wear for a suggested minimum donation of 50p from Monday 2 November, our first day back after the half term holiday.
