Castleton RSPCA shop celebrates second birthday
The RSPCA shop in Castleton has raised £368 for the charity after celebrating their second birthday with a £1 mega sale.
Staff and volunteers also baked cakes to mark the occasion.
Shop Manager Katie Clarke said: “I want to thank our regular customers for their support during the past year. The shop has now established itself in the community and has some wonderful volunteers.”
The team are now preparing for their Autumn Fair, which will take place at the animal centre on Redcross Street, Rochdale on Saturday 17 October.
All proceeds from the birthday celebration and the upcoming fair will go towards keeping the animal centre open.
