Gemma Bunting raised £570 for the Hospice after taking part in a Pink Collar Boxing competition.

Rochdale Round Table presented a cheque of £3,500 to the Hospice following this year’s Dragon Boat Race.

Mike Jackson and his friend Steve McAdam have raised over £3,000 for the Hospice after bagging 24 peaks in 24 hours in the Lake District.

The Springhill Mixed Bowling finals were held at Castleton Bowling Club last week. 16 pairs battled it out with some very close games. The 2015 Mixed Bowls champions were Nikki and Phil Mellor.

Jackson Jackson and Son Ltd were the winners of the 2015 Hospice Golf Day.

Hospice Care Week will take place 5-10 October. An online campaign will be launched in time for the event and details will be available soon.

Man of Rochdale

Heartfelt Arts and Crafts Exhibition

The Heartfelt exhibition will show case over 100 exhibits of arts and crafts submitted by patients past and present. Each piece of work tells a special story of inspiration and courage, along with fun and laughter. Many of the pieces will surprise and delight in their quality and detail, some are graphically emotional and clearly from the heart. Others are light hearted and uplifting. Held at the Hospice, from 7pm, tickets are £5 including a glass of wine and nibbles.

Lucy Cobb Fashion Show

Springhill's Day Hospice will once again be transformed into an arena of fashion, with Lucy Cobb Boutique showing off their latest Autumn/Winter collection. £5 Entry includes a glass of fizz and nibbles.
