Rochdale Connections Trust (RCT), a local charity based on Drake Street working with young people and adults who are experiencing challenges or difficulties of some description, is looking for volunteers.
Bev Place, RCT Business Development Manager, said: “We are looking for individuals of all backgrounds, ages, gender and ethnicity with, or without experience of working with people needing support, to volunteer as listeners, mentors and counsellors across our range of programmes.
“RCT offer in-house counselling service which includes volunteer listeners, mentors and counsellors right up to fully qualified clinical Counsellors who work alongside the staff to support individual clients to address their problems and to move forward.
“Full training and support will be provided and volunteering of this nature provides a range of future opportunities, whilst being massively rewarding.
