Shooting at Tesco Express on Whitworth Road

A shooting in the car park of Tesco Express on Whitworth Road is being investigated by police.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “At 12am on Sunday police were called to a car park on Whitworth Road to reports of a firearms incident.
“Officers attended and found evidence consistent with a firearms disposal.
“No one was injured in the incident and our inquiries are ongoing.”
