Monday 14 September

A female has been charged and is on court bail awaiting sentencing after an ongoing neighbour dispute, where she targeted a family with anti-social behaviour.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of fraud.

Samuel O'Neill (07/08/1994) from Rochdale arrested on Sunday evening for breach of an Anti-Social Behaviour Order was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for disqualified driving.

Christopher Chisale (22/02/1980) from Wild Street, Heywood answered his bail and has since been charged with making a false statement and dishonestly failing to disclose information to make gain for self. He has been bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 30 October.

Residents in Smallbridge and Firgrove and Belfield are being asked to be aware of an increase in burglaries in the area. Burglaries have been occurring mainly in the daytime and police are advising residents to keep all windows and doors locked, to keep valuables out of sight and to consider leaving lights on, even during the day. If you see anything suspicious please call 101 immediately or 999 if it is an emergency.

Tuesday 15 September

A man has been arrested for conspiracy to defraud.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for breaching a restraining order.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on Monday evening for breaching the terms of a harassment order and false imprisonment.

A 45-year-old man was arrested for breach of a court order.

A 32-year-old man was arrested for theft from a shop.

A 20-year-old female was arrested on warrant.

Wednesday 16 September

A 34-year-old male was arrested for theft.

A 39-year-old female was arrested for an immigration offence.

A 51-year-old male was arrested for fraud.

A 24-year-old male was arrested for drug driving.

A 29-year-old man was arrested for burglary (other than a dwelling).

Rod Duckworth (14/04/1971), from Middleton, was arrested on warrant and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

A 50-year-old man was arrested for robbery.

Andrew Gittings (17/04/1984), from Rochdale, was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale magistrate court for breach of a court order.

Martin Kenyon (03/04/1970) was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court for breaching a court order.

A 29-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after he could not account for why he was located near to the scene of a break in at 3.20am on Wednesday morning.

Three males have been arrested on suspicion of using the personal information of others to set up company names and fraudulently claim back VAT they are not entitled to.

Thursday 17 September

A 33-year-old man local to Oldham was arrested in Rochdale for drink/drug driving, dangerous driving and possessing drugs.

A man aged 33 was arrested for assault and public order.

David Cullen (27/12/1979), from Rochdale, has been charged with breaching a court order.

A 48-year-old Rochdale man arrested for assault and harassment remains in police custody for questioning.

Jack Flynn (12/02/1997), from Littleborough, was charged with robbery and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Friday 18 September

Colin Graham (23/03/1990), from Rochdale, has been recalled to prison for revoking the terms and conditions of his licence upon release.

Derek Ward (10/09/1947), from Rochdale, was arrested on warrant for failing to appear at a court of law when instructed to do so and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested for burglary (other than a dwelling) and taking a vehicle without authority.

A 22-year-old male has been arrested for kidnapping and resisting police arrest.

Shakell Ahmed (20/12/1984), from Rochdale, answered his bail and has since been charged with an assault and bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 5 October.
