Avril Marshall loses three stone in time for son’s big day

Date published: 15 September 2015

Avril Marshall, from Rochdale, lost three stone after the shock of being much bigger than she imagined when searching for an outfit for her son’s wedding.

Avril said: “Like many mothers, the pressure to find the perfect mother of the groom outfit was overwhelming; instead of excitement I was left with the feeling of dread.

“At the age of 62, with retirement just around the corner, I knew it was now or never to ensure my retirement was to be a happy and healthy one.

“I was inspired by my daughter-in-law who had achieved fantastic results with LighterLife.

“Now I walk 3 miles each lunch time and my lifestyle if a far cry from the inactive person I once was.

“At 13st I also had phone sessions with a counsellor, Natalee Connelly, who helped me identify the reasons behind my overeating and gave me the tools I needed to change my mindset towards food in the future.

“Four months on and I have more energy and confidence than ever before and feel much lighter and happier.”
