Monday 7 September

A 43-year-old man from Rochdale was arrested for breaching his bail conditions.

A 45-year-old woman was arrested for assault.

A 43-year-old man was arrested in Rochdale for the attempted theft of a digger.

Peter Beswick (16/05/1973) from Rochdale was arrested for breaching his bail conditions and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

A 33-year-old man from Rochdale was arrested for assault and criminal damage.

Alan Brierley (19/07/1970) from Rochdale answered his bail and has since been charged with criminal damage. He is bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on Monday 21 September.

Tuesday 8 September

Naomi Taylor (12/06/1988) from Rochdale was arrested on warrant and has been conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

A 35-year-old man was arrested for assault.

A 33-year old woman was arrested for burglary other than a dwelling.

Wednesday 9 September

A 76-year-old man was arrested for conspiracy.

A Rochdale man aged 29 was arrested on warrant for failing to appear at a court when instructed to do so.

Shelley Dunne (12/02/1981) from Rochdale answered her bail and has since been charged with burglary (other than a dwelling), failing to surrender to police and court bail. She was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Jody Lynam (09/02/1980) from Rochdale, has been charged with assault and breaching his bail conditions. He was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Adam Broadhurst (20/05/1986) from Rochdale was arrested on warrant and was conveyed to court.

Thursday 10 September

A 15-year-old male was arrested for public order.

A Rochdale man aged 45 was arrested for public order and harassment.

Daniel Freeman (26/07/1991) from Rochdale answered his bail and has since been charged with handling stolen goods. Freeman was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

A 28-year-old man arrested yesterday for assault has since been bailed with conditions to reappear at Bury Custody Office on 18 September pending further enquiries.

Kayleigh Gill (19/05/1989) from Rochdale answered her bail and has since been charged with attempting to smuggle three forbidden articles into a prison. Gill is bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 30 October.

A 25-year-old man was arrested for assault.

A 15-year-old male was arrested for assault.

A man with connections to Rochdale has been charged in relation to a number of offences in Wigan. Malachi Doherty (07/06/1983) has been charged with one section 39 assault, two counts of dangerous driving, two counts of driving whilst disqualified, and two counts of driving with no insurance. These charges relate to an incident where a man assaulted a police officer in Wigan before getting into a car and reversing down a one-way street, causing people to jump out of the way. GMP has also charged Doherty with the following offences on behalf of Devon and Cornwall Police - dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, and driving with no insurance. Doherty has been remanded into custody.

Police in Heywood have received a number of reports of anti-social behaviour around Heywood town centre - throwing bricks off of the roof of buildings. Patrols will be increased in the area and positive action will be taken.

Friday 11 September

A man aged 39 has been arrested for theft of a pedal cycle, theft from a motor vehicle and assault.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested for serious assault.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested for assault.

A 39-year-old male is currently in the custody cells after he was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft from a motor vehicle and theft of a pedal cycle.

A 35-year-old man from Rochdale has been arrested for burglary (other than a dwelling) and drugs.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for public order.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested for breaching his bail conditions.

A 20-year-old man from Rochdale has been arrested for assault.
