The Northern Lights Charity Ball, which takes place this evening (Friday 11 September), will be raising money for Springhill Hospice and a number of other local charities.

The Hospice will have a giant tombola and a vintage stall at The Yesteryear Festival, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday (12 and 13 September).

Ward Doctor Charlotte Barber is taking part in Tough Mudder on Saturday 12 September in aid of the Hospice.

Gemma Downes will be taking part in a Pink Collar Boxing Challenge on Sunday 20 September to raise money for the Hospice. Gemma has already completed seven weeks of training for the challenge.

Hospice Care Week will take place the week commencing Monday 5 October and the fundraising team will be launching an online campaign for it.

Golf Day

There are still a few tee off times left for anyone interested in taking part.
The event is a four ball stable ford competition with lunch. The price is £200 per team of four, which includes a three course gala presentation dinner and entertainment. If you would like to attend the dinner only, the tickets are available for £22 per person.

Sunday 20 September
Mixed Pairs Bowling Competition

Six local mixed bowling teams will compete for the prestigious bowl and winning title.

Thursday 8 October
Lucy Cobb Fashion Show

Held at the Hospice, guests are invited to arrive at 7pm with the show starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 each including a glass of wine and nibbles. Contact the fundraising team on 01706 641790 for tickets.
