If you know a person, club or organisation that has made a difference through sport and culture in your neighbourhood or community, then nominate them for the Rochdale Borough Sports and Culture Awards.

Sports Award Categories

  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Coach of the Year
  • Sports Achiever of the Year
  • Disabled Sports Achiever
  • Club of the Year
  • Unsung Hero Award
  • Changing Lifestyles Recognition of the Year

Culture Award Categories

  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Facilitator of the Year
  • Achiever of the Year in Culture
  • Disabled Achiever of the Year in Culture
  • Arts Organisation of the Year
  • Unsung Hero Award
  • Changing Lifestyles Recognition Award in Culture

Nominations should cover achievements during the period September 2014 to September 2015. The criteria is set on the quality of the nomination and not the number of nominations each individual gets. Individuals, clubs and organisation can nominate themselves. 

Closing date for nominations is Wednesday 16 September 2015.

All nominees and winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony at Middleton Arena on Thursday 8 October 2015.

Complete the nominations form(s) and follow the instructions on how to nominate. Save the completed word document (below) and email a copy to:
