Rochdale Online's Liz Munday takes 190ft plunge from Town Hall clock tower

Rochdale Online Sale Executive, Liz Munday took the 190ft plunge down the Rochdale Town Hall clock tower and raised £100 for local foodbanks.

Liz said: “The abseil was an experience that I will never forget. Although daunting when I was at the top, I enjoyed myself.”

Money raised from the charity abseil will go to the three foodbanks in the borough – Rochdale foodbank, Middleton foodbank and Heywood foodbank.

Liz added: “The money is going to a good cause so I am happy that I took part and got involved. I am pleased with the money I have raised and thank everybody for donating.”
