Action for Pakistan presents a cheque for £728.60 to the Mayor

Members of the Action for Pakistan International, Rochdale, Lancashire, UK, presented a cheque of £728.60 to the Mayor Councillor Surinder Biant and the Mayoress Councillor Cecile Biant in the Rochdale Town Hall
Members of the Action for Pakistan International, Rochdale, Lancashire, UK, presented a cheque for £728.60 to Mayor Surinder Biant and the Mayoress Cecile Biant at Rochdale Town Hall.
Ghulam Rasul Shahzad OBE JP, Chairman of the Association, said that the funds were raised at the flag raising and a fundraising dinner on the Independence day of Pakistan on 14 August.
He thanked all members of the Association, and Worldwide for providing free food for the dinner, Hafiz Abdulmalik for free cooking of the food and free use of the Castlemere Community Centre. Mohammed Ansari, Rifat Mahmood, Ilyas Shirin and all those who contributed to the fundraising.
