Thank you message to Steve Connellan
Boxing sessions held by Steve Connellan from Hamer Boxing Club for the Holding Families programme in Rochdale have been praised by those in attendance and by those who organised them.
Organised by Early Break, the sessions have been running for a number of weeks and give the young people involved sessions on pad work and basic techniques.
Daniel Rostron, from Early Break, said: “Steve has been a fantastic supporter of Early Break and the work we do supporting vulnerable young people and families and in particular the children on our Holding Families programme.
“The children who take part in the sessions thoroughly enjoy giving boxing a go and he is always a big hit.”
Early Break is the Young Person’s Drug and Alcohol Charity for Rochdale, Bury and East Lancashire that has been helping young people since 1994.
