79-year-old man threatened by robbers in his home

A 79-year-old man was threatened by robbers in his home in Rochdale.
Three men broke into the house of on Norford Way. One of the men forced the victim into his bedroom and threatened him with a screwdriver, while two other men searched the house.
The incident occurred shortly after 6.20pm on Monday 17 August 2015.
The offenders, described as three white men, stole a number of items including jewellery and money.
Detective Constable Simon Massey from Rochdale police station said: “We are determined to catch the people responsible for this crime and we are investigating the possibility that the men may have made off from the address afterwards in a waiting car, possibly a dark coloured BMW.
“We are asking for anyone that saw any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area around this time, to please contact police.”
