Queen's Park awarded Green Flag

Park keepers Andy Dobson and George Jones
Queen's Park, in Heywood, has been awarded a Green Flag Award.
Andy Dobson and George Jones are the permanent maintenance team for the park and were instrumental in achieving the standards necessary to qualify for the award.
The Green Flag Award scheme recognises and rewards the best green spaces and in 2015 a record number of awards were made, with 1,582 parks and green spaces currently flying a Green Flag or Green Flag Community Award.
