The Springhill Hospice Open Garden day event raised £1,356.50 for the Hospice.

A number of local residents are taking part in the Rochdale Half Marathon, 10k and 1 mile fun run on Sunday 23 August to raise money for the Hospice.

The Tea Room and Gift Shop will be closed on Sunday 16 August.

The Springhill Hospice team needs volunteers across all outlets. If you can volunteer any of your time, be it two hours, two days or a week at the Hospice, in the community, in the Tea Room or at any of the Hospice shops then the team can utilise whatever skills you have.

To volunteer at the Tea Room, contact the Fundraising team on 01706 641790.

To volunteer at any other location, contact the Hospice on 01706 649920.
