Springhill Hospice
The Springhill Hospice Open Garden day event raised £1,356.50 for the Hospice.
A number of local residents are taking part in the Rochdale Half Marathon, 10k and 1 mile fun run on Sunday 23 August to raise money for the Hospice.
The Tea Room and Gift Shop will be closed on Sunday 16 August.
The Springhill Hospice team needs volunteers across all outlets. If you can volunteer any of your time, be it two hours, two days or a week at the Hospice, in the community, in the Tea Room or at any of the Hospice shops then the team can utilise whatever skills you have.

Charity Golf Day
The event is a four ball stableford competition with lunch. The cost is £200 per team of four and that includes a three course gala presentation dinner and entertainment. If you just want to attend the dinner, then tickets are £22 per person.

Sunday 20 September
Hospice Mixed Pairs Bowling Competition
Held at Castleton Bowling Club, the competition will see six local mixed bowling teams compete for the bowl and winning title.
