Deeplish children learn about dental health

Deeplish children benefited from a dental health training session at Deeplish Playscheme on 11 August.

All smiley faces promised to stay active, and looking after their dental health and practicing tips learnt from a dental health advisor.

Idrees Khan, who worked for NHS, has advised many children and adults on dental health whilst he has been visiting groups and children across the ages .

He siad: "It’s always good for children learn about health at an early stage and it’s always good fun during summer holidays playscheme at Deeplish".

Sohail Ahmad said: “We are very pleased with our children learning, playing together and making best use of the time and opportunities available to them though playscheme project.

"We have drama, photography, music, and health and well-being workshops as well as trips to places of interest whilst developing confidence, participation, and making this provision a vibrant, safe and fun for all.

Playscheme volunteer coordinators Rabia Sultana and Bilal Ali, said: “We are pleased to see children participating in many interactive workshops, activities and learning as well as participating in play.

"We are proud to deliver this year’s fantastic play provision at Deeplish Community Centre which is funded by RADPAC and supported by Deeplish Community Centre’s Health and Well being Project."
