Cheese and wine evening raises £700

Mike Goldrick Curtains and Blinds held a cheese and wine charity night in aid of Heywood's Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Action Group who are campaigning the reinstate the screening service back to the purpose built Phoenix Centre.
Dr Marian Corns held a very testing Lancashire quiz and Cllr Peter Rush auctioned artwork from Mr McIntyre, a well known local artist.
The night was enjoyed by all and raised £700 for the action group.
