Date published: 06 August 2015

Greater Manchester Fire Service Museum, located behind the Old Fire Station on Maclure Road, Rochdale, will be offering additional openings during the summer holidays.

Throughout August, the Museum will be open on both Wednesdays and Fridays (10.00am to 4.00pm) rather than just weekly as at present.

Families and other visitors are welcome at these times, with no appointment necessary. Free parking is available on site.

The Museum will also be opening for an extra dates, Friday 11 September and Saturday 12 September during the Heritage Open Days weekend in September.
