Commemorative Memorial Benches in Springfield Park
Two Commemorative memorial benches have recently been installed in Springfield Park.
Dave Logan, from The Friends of Springfield Park group (FoSP), said: “We are very pleased to see these benches installed.
“These memorial benches are of wrought iron construction with the seat and back made to look like wood, but the wrought iron material makes them as vandal proof as is possible.
“FoSP are continuing their quest to renovate, regenerate and generally enhance Springfield Park and its facilities for the enjoyment of the community as a whole.”
The scheme is run in partnership between the Friends of Springfield Park and Rochdale Borough Council.
