Man critical following attack in Gale Street
Damien Donnelly and Dain Fitzsimmons have been charged in connection with an assault on Gale Street on Saturday that left the 18-year-old victim with serious head injuries.
Donnelly (20/04/92) of Jermyn Street, Rochdale and Fitzsimmons (22/06/92) of Further Pits, Rochdale were charged with section 18 assault and remanded into custody to appear before Bury and Rochdale Magistrates’ Court on Monday 20 July 2015.
Shortly before 5.45am on Saturday 18 July 2015, police were called by NWAS staff to an address on Gale Street, Rochdale following reports that a man had been assaulted.
Officers attended and found an 18-year-old man with serious head injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
