Javed Iqbal charged with trafficking offences

Javed Iqbal has been charged with trafficking offences.
Iqbal (born 29/06/1965) of Broomfield Square, Rochdale, has been charged with two counts of assisting immigration and human trafficking.
Iqbal appeared at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on Wednesday 15 July 2015 and was remanded in custody.
He will next appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on 5 August 2015.
In 2012 police investigated a case where a Slovakian woman was trafficked to Gretna, Scotland and married into a ‘sham marriage’ in breach of immigration law.
In 2013 police investigated a case where a Slovakian woman was trafficked from Bradford to Rochdale and married into a ‘sham marriage’ in breach of immigration law.
