Over one hundred people took part in the first Springy’s Moonlit Sprint or Stroll on Saturday 4 July. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by those who participated, staff and volunteers.

The fundraising team will be welcoming new community support fundraiser Kate Bennetta to the team in a few weeks.

The Springhill Hospice Calendar will launch on Thursday 27 August.

Saturday 25 July
Summer Serenade

Held in the grounds of Springhill Hospice, entertainment will be provided by the GMP Male Voice Choir, Rochdale Community Band and other supporting groups. Those attending can bring a picnic and a blanket along as the event is held outside (weather permitting). Tickets are £7.50, which includes a glass of wine. Tickets can be bought by ringing 01706 649920.

Sunday 9 August
Open Garden Day

The Open Garden Day at Springhill Hospice gives guests the chance to tour the beautiful gardens of the Hospice. Held between 11am and 3pm, there will also be plants for sale, demonstrations throughout the afternoon, Springhill crafts, merchandise, tea and coffee, homemade cakes, word searches and colouring for the children
