Date published: 10 July 2015
Members of Rochdale Pensioners’ Association had a cruise along part of the Foulridge Canal on Wednesday (8 July).
The one and a half hour cruise started from Canal Wharf at Foulridge near Colne.
The boat sailed through open countryside towards the village of Salterforth on the highest and one of the most scenic sections of the canal.
A spoeksperson said: "Wey were served with delicious homemade scones with jam and cream together with tea or coffee.
"The day was sunny at times and everyone said that they enjoyed the journey and thanked Emily for organising the day."
