Witness appeal following fatal RTC in Middleton

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic collision in Middleton.
At 3.50pm on Saturday 4 July 2015, a motorcycle was travelling east along Langley Lane when it lost control and collided with a Ford Focus driving in the opposite direction.
The 56-year-old driver of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was taken to Royal Oldham Hospital for treatment, where he sadly died hours later.
No one else was injured.
Constable Paul Shore, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Firstly, our condolences go out to the family of the man who sadly died as a result of this collision.
“We would like to ask anyone who may have seen something at the time to contact police and help us ascertain exactly what happened.”
