The alternative route for vehicles for the temporary No Left Turn is via John Street, Entwisle Road, Yorkshire Street/Halifax Road.

The alternative routes for vehicles for the temporary Road Closures are via:
Baillie Street – Milton Street, Smith Street, Entwisle Road, Yorkshire Street,
John Street – Entwisle Road, Yorkshire Street and vice versa,
Whitworth Road – Howard Street, Falinge Road, Sheriff Street, Spotland Road, St Mary’s Gate and vice versa.

To facilitate the safe removal and reconstruction of traffic islands as part of the junction layout amendment works.

Medium impact, delays possible. The alternative route for vehicles is West Street, Buckley Street and East Street for vehicles travelling in an easterly direction. The alternative route for vehicles travelling in a westerly direction is via East Street, Yorkshire Street and West Street.

Traffic control: Emergency Road Closure along South Street, Rochdale from its junction with West Street to its junction with East Street to allow the investigation and repair a void found under the carriageway.

Dane Street, Rochdale
6 July 2015 for a period not exceeding 21 days.
High impact, delays likely. The alternative route for vehicles is via St Mary’s Gate, College Road, Mellor Street, Dane Street.

Traffic control: Emergency Road Closure from the south-easterly carriageway of Dane Street from a point 145 metres south-west of its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Norman Road to allow the safe repair of a gas escape.

Hare Hill Road, Littleborough

Medium impact, delays possible. The alternative route for vehicles is Hare Hill Road, Church Street, Featherstall Road, Whitelees Road and vice-versa.

Lower Sheriff Street, Rochdale
From 9.30am 22 June 2015 until midnight 10 July 2015.
Minor impact, delays possible. The alternative route for vehicles is via Lower Sheriff Street, Mount Street, Ashworth Street and vice-versa.
