Man dies after motorcycle collides with car

A 56-year-old man has died following a collision with a car.
The man, who was travelling along Langley Lane, Middleton on Saturday afternoon (4 July), lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a Ford Focus travelling in the opposite direction.
It is currently unclear why the motorcyclist lost control.
He was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital with serious injuries, but later died.
A formal identification has taken place and the family have been informed.
