Littleborough Community School, residential at Whitby
Date published: 01 July 2015
On 14 June, 64 children from year 5 & 6 set off for five nights to Whitby, staying at Sneaton Castle on West Cliff.
They had a very full week, with a different visit every day, including Flamborough Head, Bempton Cliffs, Ravenscar, a Ghost walk, North York Moors railway and Lightwater Valley on the way home.
The weather was really kind and the children had a super time.
A special assembly to show off the photographs, and work etc. will take place on Friday 3 July at 2pm.
The children who didn't take part in the residential also had a very full week with trips to Hollingworth Lake and a film/supper evening.
