Arrest made after man assaulted at Courteeners gig in Heaton Park

A man has been arrested after a man needed two plates inserted into his cheek following an assault at a gig in Heaton Park.
The victim, 27, was attacked while attending the Courteeners gig on Friday 5 June leaving him with a fractured cheekbone in two places.
The man was later admitted to hospital and needed an operation to have two plates inserted into his face to stabilise his cheekbone.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been bailed until a date in July.
