Date published: 22 June 2015
Properties in Whitworth have been left without power today (Monday 22 June) due to a local cable fault.
It is understood that the fault occurred in the Millfold area of Whitworth and was due to damage of Electricity North West’s equipment.
Engineers were on site from 8am and it is hoped that all properties will be restored by 2.30pm.
A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: “We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the interruption to the supply and our engineers will work to restore the power as soon as possible.”
