The team of Nationwide staff cycling for Springhill Hospice
Twelve members from Nationwide branches across Greater Manchester completed a 40 mile cycle ride in aid of Springhill Hospice on Wednesday (17 June) .
The staff members from Rochdale, Manchester, Stockport, Ashton and Bolton, cycled from Manchester to Stockport to Ashton to Oldham to Rochdale and to Bury, before heading back to Manchester, stopping off at six Nationwide branches along the way.
Money raised from the charity bike ride will go to Springhill Hospice, who recently cared for a colleague.
A spokesperson for Nationwide said: “The Hospice looked after a former member of staff who had worked at Nationwide Rochdale for 30 years and sadly passed away one year ago this week.”
