Rochdale Contact Centre 20th Anniversary
Date published: 18 June 2015
Rochdale Contact Centre celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a lunch hosted by Wendy Smith, the co-ordinator who has served in the role since the start of the project by WRVS before becoming part of Child and Family Connect in 2003.
The lunch was attended by all the present volunteers, and some past, of the centre and the support staff of Child and Family Connect.
Kath Williams, deputy co-ordinator, has also served 20 years.
Wendy made a short, emotional, speech.
Flowers were presented to Wendy Smith by the volunteers, and a cake, made by a centre volunteer, was enjoyed by all.
