Man injured in three car accident on Wildhouse Lane

Wildhouse Lane is currently closed (3.00pm Tuesday 16 June) following an accident involving three cars at 12.20pm today.
A 40 year old man was trapped in a Ford Puma and he was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital by air ambulance with arm and leg injuries.
A police spokesman said the occupants of the other two vehicles, a Jaguar and a Freelander did not need hospital treatment.
Wildhouse Lane is closed from Croft Head Drive, Milnrow through to Smithy Bridge Road, Littleborough.
Police are currently recovering the vehicles and clearing the road.
Local residents are reporting ‘every road around Milnrow is at a stop or slow crawl’ and ‘most roads around the area are grid locked’.
