Andrew Hazley wanted in connection with burglary and serious assault

Police are trying to trace a man wanted in connection with the theft of a motorbike and a serious assault.

Andrew Hazley, 23, last known address Elm Street, Bacup, is wanted in connection with the theft of a motorbike from a garage in Whitworth in April. He is also wanted in connection with a serious assault in which a man was left with broken ribs and bruising following the attack which happened in Rochdale at the start of May.

He is described as white and around 5ft 10 tall. He is known to have links to the Burnley and Rossendale areas.

PS 3689 Dave Clark from Burnley CID said: “We would ask anyone with information around

the whereabouts of Hazley to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
“Similarly if he sees this appeal, I would urge him to hand himself in at the nearest police station because we will continue searching for you until we locate you.”
