Go Green Day for Springhill Hospice raised £8,000 with the total still growing. The event saw the borough of Rochdale turn green on Friday 15 May in aid of raising money for the Hospice.

The Springhill Hospice Country Fete, which took place on Sunday 7 June, was a huge success with the team now hoping to expand the event for next year.

The staff at Dr Hamid’s practice at Nye Bevan House have raised £200 from an information day they organised.

The Tea Rooms and Gift Shop on Broad Lane will be closed on Sunday 14 June.
