David Vale charged after reports of an attack on lollipop lady

David Vale, 45, of Industry Road, Rochdale has been charged with assault following reports that a lollipop lady had been attacked.
Lancashire Police received reports at 3.30pm on Tuesday 9 June that a 64-year-old had been assaulted on the corner of Market Street and Hall Street in Whitworth.
Vale has since been charged with assault and has been released on bail.
He is due to appear at Burnley Magistrates Court on Tuesday 30 June.
