The lorry driver has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition
A man remains in a critical condition following a serious collision on the M62.
At 8.15am on Monday 8 June 2015, a lorry collided with the central reservation of the M62 west bound, near to junction 21, Milnrow.
The lorry went through the reservation, onto the opposite side, colliding with ten vehicles.
The 37-year-old lorry driver was airlifted to hospital and remains in a critical condition with a head injury.
A 30-year-old man suffered whiplash and a 53-year-old man sustained a leg injury.
The M62 at Milnrow was closed in both directions for a number of hours but has since reopened.
Anyone with information should phone the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741.
Officers are also asking anyone who may have captured footage on CCTV or a dash-cam to contact them.
