My Kingdom for a Throne?

A special addition has been added to the upcoming Dale-Con sci-fi convention being held at Spotland Stadium on Saturday 20 June.

The organisers have tracked down the only HBO Iron Throne in the UK from the iconic series ‘Games of Thrones’ on Sky TV and convinced them to come along to the event and team up with two of the show’s stars, Josephine Gillan and Pixie Le Knot.

A whole host of characters from the long running series have been pictured in the throne which features in HBO video game of the series, and subsequently signed it so it’s becoming a growing piece of art.

The piece was create by Victoria Maclean from Prop Maker Wales, and along with the Iron Throne, the team will be bringing along a six and a half foot tall AT-At From The Empire Strikes Back and a huge Thundercats logo showing all different sides of their talents.
