Birtle Riding Centre was transformed yesterday (Saturday 6 June) to hold a country fete and scarecrow competition.
Starting at 10am with a 3k, 5k and 10k fun run from the Church Inn on Castle Road, the event saw hundreds of people come together for the day.
As well as the scarecrow competition, the event included a number of activities such as tug a war, a duck race, falconry show, craft stalls, dog agility and music from Eagley Brass Band.
Children were also kept entertained with a number of fairground rides, bouncy castles and trains rides.
