Woman dies after falling from bridge in Rochdale Town Centre

A 20-year-old woman has died after falling from a bridge in Rochdale Town Centre.
Police were called to Smith Street at 12.30am on Saturday 30 May to reports that a woman had fallen from a bridge.
Emergency services attended and found the body of a 20-year-old woman.
The Ambulance service also attended and described the bridge wall was ‘25ft high’.
Police stated that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and it has now been passed to the Coroner.
