Date published: 04 June 2015

A baby rabbit has been stolen during a burglary, leaving the owners incredibly upset.

The rabbit, called Molly, was stolen during a burglary on Mere Street, Rochdale yesterday (Wednesday 3 June).

The 10-12 week old rabbit was stolen along with her food, water bottle, hay and sawdust indicating to officers that she may be going to be kept or sold as a pet.

The rabbit has been micro-chipped and is described as a “very friendly” rabbit.

Molly’s owners are incredibly upset and have told their little boy that Molly has gone on holiday to stop him from being too upset.

If anyone has any information on the burglary or Molly’s whereabouts, Rochdale police are asking that you call 101 quoting the crime reference number 095717X/15.
