Rochdale photographer Karl Whitehead scooped five bronze awards during the May Guild of Photographers competition.
Karl, who submitted seven photographs, walked away with five awards for photographs depicting a wedding theme.
Speaking about winning the awards, Karl said: “It feels really good to get the recognition from your peers. I would have been happy to walk away with one award but five is brilliant.”
Members of the Guild of Photographers can submit up to nine photographs a month for the monthly competition.
“It was the first time that I entered so I just went with my instinct and chose pictures that I was proud of and that other people liked as well,” said Karl.
The Guild of Photographers is a national organisation for individuals committed to the art of photography.
