Brickwork student Haroon Rashid who came first in the competition

Haroon Rashid, 27, from Rochdale, won the brickwork competition and five second place wins in competitions including carpentry and joinery, electrical installation, plastering and plumbing during a series of competitions last week.

The competitions, held at Stockport College, saw students from across the area take part. In the face of fierce competition Hopwood Hall College’s team finished the day with two first place wins.
