M62 between J22 and J21 Milnrow blocked

One lane closed and stop-start traffic on M62 in both directions between J22, A672 (Rishworth Moor) and J21, A640 (Milnrow), because of a multi-vehicle accident, due to an incident which has seen a lorry collide with the central reservation.
Police were called at 3:51pm this afternoon (Monday 11 May) and the air ambulance is currently in attendance.
It is believed that the incident occurred due to the driver suffering a medical episode but that is still being investigated.
Highways England have warned drivers that delays are currently building up in the area.
