Lee Welch and Jason Dance charged in connection with assault of man in Rochdale

Lee Welch and Jason Dance have been charged in connection with the assault of a man in Rochdale.
Welch (02/07/1975) of Moss Mill Street, Rochdale has been charged with section 18 assault. He was remanded into custody and appeared at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 6 May 2015.
Dance (24/04/1973) of Kenyon Lane, Middleton has been charged with assisting an offender. He was remanded into custody and appeared at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 6 May 2015.
On 10 April 2015, a 40-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after he was assaulted at a house on Moss Mill Street in Rochdale.
On 4 May 2015, the 40-year-old man was found dead at a house on Cheap Side in Middleton.
A Home Office Post Mortem concluded there is a possibility the man’s death may be linked to injuries he sustained on 10 April 2015. A police investigation is ongoing.
