Amarjit Singh dies following collision in Littleborough

Amarjit Singh, aged 61 and from the Bradford area, who was seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Littleborough in April died in hospital on Friday 1 May 2015.

At around 2.10pm on Tuesday 21 April 2015, Amarjit was stood at a bus stop on Todmorden Road in Littleborough when a Honda Jazz being driven along the road mounted the pavement and collided with him.

Amarjit was taken to hospital where he was treated for serious injuries including a head injury.

Police Constable Phil Turley from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "This is a tragic incident in which a man has now sadly lost his life.

"We are offering all the support that we can to his family in these difficult times and we are conducting a full investigation to establish the exact circumstances leading up to this collision.

"I would particularly like to appeal for two witnesses who were at the scene in a black Range Rover or Discovery, to get in touch with us."
