Man has life threatening injuries following stabbing in Middleton

A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to life threatening injuries on Sunday (26 April) after being injured with some sort of weapon or knife.
Police were called to Evesham Road, Middleton at 1:20pm.
The man currently remains in hospital and is in stable condition.
Police have confirmed that inquiries are ongoing.
