Man suffered fractured cheekbone in assault

A 34-year-old man suffered a fractured cheekbone after an altercation inside the Spread Eagle Hotel on Yorkshire Street spilled out onto the street.
PC Callum Wall, said: “The man suffered a very nasty injury as a result of an unseemly incident that started inside the pub before spreading outside.
“We have conducted a number of enquiries and at this time it remains unclear exactly what has occurred or what sparked the incident.
“If anyone was in the area, saw what happened or has information that can help, I would urge them to get in touch.”
The incident occured at about 1.20am on Sunday 15 March 2015.
